Tom in Africa — photographic series and fine art prints

The project

In November 2024, we left Paris in our Toyota Land Cruiser HDJ80 to cross Africa all the way to South Africa. Over nearly six months, we traveled through more than twenty countries, meeting local people, artists and associations, to tell the story — in pictures — of an authentic, deeply human Africa.

Beyond the adventure, this trip was a search for encounters, discoveries and understanding, especially around access to clean water. Through our photographs, we share the landscapes, the faces and the stories that shaped this mother-son crossing and changed how we see the world.
